Come celebrate Local Yarn Store Day at Indigo Hill!

Saturday, April 30, 2022, 10-4 pm

Local Yarn Store Day is an annual yarn shop appreciation day created by the TNNA (the National Needlearts Association) to celebrate the benefits of locally owned, independent yarn stores. Yarn shops across North America will be participating with special events and Indigo Hill is no exception!

We invite you to come out on Saturday, April 30, to show your love for local! We have a day of special activities planned, including:

  • the launch of several new yarn lines to the shop (details TBA)
  • tea, coffee and cookies and a craft-in (bring your own fibre arts project to sit and work on for a spell in the company of other makers)
  • everyone making a purchase in the shop that day has their name put into a draw for several amazing prizes!
  • meet the maker: Cheryl of Cherished Goods will be here from 12-3 with a brand-new inventory of her popular hand-sewn, hand-dyed cord baskets (perfect for housing your yarn stash or your WIPs!)

Come peruse our fibre arts supplies and giftware made by local fibre artists. We carry much more than yarn, including supplies and kits for rug-hooking, embroidery, weaving, macramé, hand-spinning, and more!

Save the date and check back here for updates on our planned activities for this special day.
