We’re so pleased to welcome talented young maker Erika Wilson of Nationview Creations to Indigo Hill! If you’ve been in our shop you’ll have seen Erika’s popular needle-felted greeting cards, decorated with such whimsical woollies as cupcakes, tulips and rainbows. We invite you to meet her on November 19 and browse her newest creations, perfect for the gift-giving season! She’ll have holiday- and birthday-themed needle-felted art cards, felted ornaments, and wool dryer balls.

Erika’s appearance happens to take place during the popular Vankleek Hill Christmas Porch Tour and the town-wide Gnome Scavenger Hunt! (Hint: you’ll find more than just Erika’s gnomes in the shop that day…) Why not make our Nationview Creations pop-up one of your stops in a day of special Vankleek Hill activities?

About Erika and Nationview Creations:

Erika Wilson grew up in the small town of Riceville on a dairy farm. In her youth, she was very active in Girl Guides, Scouts and 4-H. Building on the skills she developed there, Erika wanted to learn how to make her own yarn to knit so she bought her first spinning wheel, which then expanded her interests into other fibre crafts. In 2019, Erika started making Christmas cards for family members, and then selling knitted and needle-felted hearts in the Vankleek Hill area. Nationview Creations grew with the support of family and loved ones, and now Erika sells greeting cards, needle-felted products, dryer balls, and other little creations at numerous markets.
